As an admitted product junky, I’ve tried a plethora of beauty products. But I’ve gone back to my favorites time and time again.
As far as foundation, Smashbox 24 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation has been my go-to for the past 3 years. The color, the way it sits on my skin, and the coverage is ideal for me.
My fragrance drawer is stuffed, but Philosophy Amazing Grace is a very classic feminine scent. I’ve gotten many compliments while wearing it, and had men ask for the name, so they can buy it for their wives.
Pink blush is my go-to for a natural look. I was opposed to blush for YEARS, because I didn’t think it made sense as a black woman to have “blushed” cheeks. If I wear feeling the emotions to “blush”, my cheeks wouldn’t be pink, but after polishing my makeup routine, a little color makes a very satisfying difference. Ulta blushes are cost-effective, and do the job.
Speaking of Ulta, I’ve been using the It foundation brush. One of my BFFs is a makeup artist, and she taught me the art of using a flat foundation brush to press the foundation into your skin.
My last blog post was about Orly Lucid Dream, my new favorite nail polish. It’s the perfect rose gold shimmer polish.
These silver slate trays from Crimson Finch are all over my home. From the living room, to the vanity, they look fabulous in every room.
Last, but certainly not least, my favorite necklace is the silver druzy Agate Occo necklace from my jewelry line, T. Victoria. I’ve gotten compliments every time I’ve worn it, and it works with both casual, and formal attire. My gold pyrite agate slice bracelet is another piece that will get you noticed, and I love stacking it with other bracelets.
